Are there any magazines or such that has articles that resemble the passages on the PCAT....so that I can practice reading and understanding PCAT passages and pulling out the relevant information from them??

Any books??? I have a long time to study....about 2.5 years....so....you can give all your suggestions...

Most of the time, PCAT reading passages contain literature relating to the science field (sometimes its science but I heard this is not always the case).

I recommend reading literature heavy on science material and non-science ones.

Read the New York Times. I read at least three to four articles on daily basis. It helps me stay current on world and national news. It's interesting and you can use what you read as examples for your writing section of PCAT exam.

For science reading material, I recommend New England Journal of Medicine, Nature, or Scientific American.

If there are other interesting and challenging reading material out there, please let us know. 🙂

There is a magazine known as "Pharmacy Times". On the website, they say its free for students....Good to obtain knowledge abt pharmacy world...dunno how much the passages resemble pcat ones though...

You might want to try MCAT ExamKrakers 101 Passages. It might be more intense than the PCAT but it provides excellent practice. In addition to Pharmacy Times, you might want to look into a magazine titled U.S. Pharmacist.

i saw the MCAT ExamKrakers 101 passages book after i took the PCAT and i certainly could see that improving my score.

i used the Kaplan PCAT Course and Dr. Collins PCAT Prep Course material for my reading comp. it worked out great i thought.

Kaplan Course had much better questions for the passages but the passages were too long and detailed.
Dr. Collins course had much much better passages but the questions were far too easy. The passages were very similar to what i saw in June.
