I just spoke with Don Meagher (the designer of the PCAT), regarding the revisions on the PCAT for the 2012/2013 test cycle. He confirmed that starting in July the PCAT will be changing to add Biochemistry and to eliminate several sub-section from the Biology portion. He says that taking Biochemistry before the test should not be required and that it will mostly consist of basic nomenclature. The Pearson practice test will be modified to include Biochemistry on March 1st (It will still be the same three test as usual, only modified). The writing score will also change for 2012/2013 to a single 1-6 score. I just thought everybody should know...
