I saw this piece of advice before I took my PCAT and it really helped me out. You wear a watch and set it to 12:00 at the beginning of each section. That way if the time says 12:17, you know 17 minutes have passed without having to think about it. When I'm stressed out, it takes too much effort to remember that this section started a 9:37 and it is now 9:53 so 16 minutes have passed. I forget what time the section started or I get bogged down trying to figure out how many minutes have passed. If you set it to 12:00, you don't have to remember what time the section started and it only takes a quick glance to see exactly how much time has passed. It really helps out on the pacing and you will need to pace yourself for the quant section especially.
I used just a regular analog watch because I was afraid it might beep during the exam. If you use a digital watch, be absolutely sure it doesn't beep because they will take away your exam if it does. My room had no clock so I would have had a lot harder time with pacing if I didn't bring my own way to keep track of time.
Good luck to those taking the exam and if anyone else has helpful test day advice, feel free to post it here.
