What would you guys recommend studying for the vocab and reading section for the pcat.

I did not study for those sections at all, but I did well on them. I feel like reading/vocab you are either good at or your aren't and the other sections are easier to improve. I wouldn't focus on them unless your scores are super low. Some people use like flashcards for the top 200 GRE words. I'm not sure how successful that is myself. Maybe someone else has a better strategy.

I know this post is from a while ago, but maybe my answer will help someone else....

Buy the Pearson practice exams. They are a very good representation of the exam; a lot of study guides really don't represent the verbal portion well. I agree with Kelp103, though. This is a tough section to study for if you don't already have a good vocabulary or aren't a big reader. If you score really high in your sciences and decently in math, they will pull up poor scores in Verbal. I got a 93 even though I TANKED my math portion of the exam (no Calculus class yet). Definitely concentrate more energy on Science and Math which are easiest to improve on. And I can't overstate the importance of buying the official Pearson practice exams. All the study guides and my own note revisions would not have helped me get the score I got without those practice exams.
