When I signed up to take the June 24th PCAT I selected 3 schools for my score to be sent to which was included in the cost. I logged back into my account irecently in order to deselect that the schools not receive my score but could not change that selection. I was just wondering if I should not have the scores sent to the schools until I see my score even though I would have to pay more to have the scores sent. Since I have the opportunity to retake the test if I did bad. Would schools request to see my first score if I summitted a second score (that is I am assuming it says on the score report that it is your second time taking the test) or think I did really bad if I did not summit my first scores to them. Overall, I am wondering if I should call and try to not have my score sent to the schools I selected or just have my scores sent on my first time taking the pcat (not that I am expected to do bad because I have been studying).
Thanks for the help.

I didn't know you could look at your scores first, then decide to send it to the schools after. How do you know this?

Taking the PCAT without sending it to a school? I'm not sure if you can do that. However I am pretty sure that once you do send your scores to the school, both the good and bad scores will be sent. Most pharmacy schools say that they will accept the higher score. Good luck!

Just choose not to have the scores sent to any schools when you are registering. Then when you get your score back and if you like your score, order transcripts to be sent to each school. This is all assuming that it is your first time taking the pcat. If you take it more than once, all your scores will show up in the transcript. It will cost more money but could be worth it in the end. 🙂

Wow, so you don't get to see your PCAT scores until after you apply to a pharmacy school? LOl, that's great, you get owned hardcore if you do bad, 2 birds with one stone, don't get accepted and it will be a year before you can take it over again. How does one decide if he/she wants to take it over if he can't see the score before applying?
