NIH is good program (from what I heard), particularly in terms of research and academic career. I don't know of the details however. I assume it has a good clinical center. I considered it at one point when I was interested in just CCM. But now that I liked P/CCM, I did not look back at it.
Thanks Arjun
But as per the website they allow you to do Pulmonary after one year of CCM if you are interested. What do you think about that?
regards

Its good to see that our thread is getting bigger. I was just casually surfing through the Cards thread yesterday and it looked like it is in hibernation...and they have completely seperate forums for Cards/GI...keep up guys...hope we all end on a good note this June/July.

Best wishes.

I came across this article. I can't remember exactly where but it may have been somewhere else on this site. I think that trying to draw conclusions from analyzing our posts can be a difficult undertaking. Maybe this article will help some people out...

Moozy, thanks for posting and it's nice analysis.
The one I listed in one of the first posts is from ACP website and based on cardiology PDs. So this ones apt for us and will surely help. I will add it to my list of links.

No activity in my inbox, any one else.....?

interview albert einstein- montefiore

Congrats Moozy!

I did my time at Monte. Good pizza in the Bronx. Busy hospital, but I never spent any time in the ICU there.

einstein-montefiore is a tough program...just like majority of nyc programs....u have alot more useless responsibility that just makes your fellowship more difficult (like making ur own drips in the icu)

would be nice to live and work in nyc...but not in the mood to work like a maniac for no reason....

but good lucky anyway

I looked back at last year's thread....seems like alot of ppl didnt get most of their responses until the 2nd-3rd week of January and then they all came at once.....either it was a yes or no

I guess the same trend is going on again this year and I'll be patient

I have yet to even hear from my own program.....so that means they haven't sent out their invites yet....
