Hey guys,
I interview PCO last week and I found out today that I m on on "stand by". Does anyone know how the processes works? Also are there more people like me on the wait-list here? Is there anything that I should be doing to get me off the wait list?

Hey!

Just writing to tell you that I received the same letter today, so I'm also on standby and would love some clarification as to what that process entails!

Seems like we're all on the same boat lol, I got the same exact letter too

I have an interview with PCO in a couple of weeks, can yall let me know how the interview was like? What kind of questions did they ask, and was it very laid back etc? Thanks!

Hey everyone. I was just wondering if anyone has been accepted to PCO recently. I have an interview coming up and was wondering if that meant that all seats were filled and theyre just interviewing people since some people who paid for a seat will choose to go to a different school. Thanks!

I also have an interview next week. Little nervous

I just interviewed at PCO march 13th, and found out I am accepted today so I don't think all the seats are filled yet

I interviewed on the 11th and haven't heard from them. How did they contact you?

Hey I was in the waiting/standby list last year. Their standby list is really long and I didnt get off the list. i ended up applying again for the next cycle and got accepted easily. when a seat is available they select the best candidates from the list. which makes it even more competitive. I suggest you make a mindset to reapply just to be on the safe side. you can pm me if you have any questions.

I got my acceptance letter in the mail. They didn't contact me through email like I expected.

I just received the same letter. So it doesn't matter what position you are on the list?

nope it doesnt matter. standby list means that they found you acceptable but because their seats are filled they cannot really accept you. If you do not get off the standby list and PCO is your first choice, you should apply again, early, and you chance of acceptance is really high. when I reapplied i was easily accepted and my interview from last cycle was carried over so I didnt have to go through all that. But yeah if your stats are average getting off the standby list may be a little hard. you should prepare to reapply, or look into other schools, it wont hurt. Believe me I know what you're going through I went through it last year and it was horrible. =/

Hey all,

I had my interview today and my interviewer said there are a few seats left; however, one of the other candidates today said that her person said everyone is being put on stand-by list. Not sure why they would say different things but I didn't ask. My person did say that stand-by list doesn't take into account when you were interviewed. After the seats are filled, and a new seat becomes available, the committee will meet and review all standby candidates to pick one.

Hope this helps calm the nerves!

Well that sucks. My own fault for being a late applicant. But traveling there when there isn't a hotel anywhere near campus just for a waitlist. 👎

Can you please post if you end up getting in from the standby list?

I got a letter today saying that I was put on standby list. I'm debating if I should stay on the list, I was ready to give up and apply next year until I got this letter. Any help would be appreciated!
