I know a bunch of you guys/gals had interviews recently at PCOM. How did the interviews go? Stressful? Laid back? What type of questions did they hit you with? Any information you folks would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated.

u should check out the interview feedback section..............the interviews never really change year to year. About the only difference is if you get an OMM professor who ask alot of question about omm or having an interview without an omm professor.

The interviews tend to be really laid back which fits the schools mentality

One thing I noticed is that if you have written about somthing in your primary or secondary that is generally one of thier interview questions, they won't re-ask. For alot of schools it seems like they sometimes don't read your secondary based on their questions, but I had written a alot about DO / OMM and didn't have any of those questions in my interview. It may seem like common sense, but some of the questions that I was really prepared to speak about weren't asked.

Overall though the interview was laid back. You should have nothing to worry about.

are we talking bout Philly or Ga?

so if I mentioned why DO and why PCOM in my secondary, they won't ask me at the interview?? These questions make my mind spin out of control so I would love to avoid them!

If an interview is open file they will tend not to ask you too much about stuff they already know...like why osteopathic if you explain it in an essay. A closed file interview is free game since the interviewer knows almost nothing about you including your grades.
