uhmm, i contacted the school about 3 weeks ago and they said my file is under review and i haven't heard from them since. Should i email Aisha again?
 
Has anyone that attended the April 14 interview session heard anything? I am sure hopeful to hear something this week.:whistle:

That must be a good position to be in. I just received an invite to Mercer today. I know it's late in the game, but you never know.

Hi guys! Aisha (the admissions counselor) emailed me back earlier today. She said that they would be sending out letters at the end of this week or next at the latest!

I received an email today for an interview for this Thursday. I'm so excited😀 and nervous :scared: at the same time. Wish me luck.

Hey Ander130, i am just curious to know when you submitted your application. I sent in my application on the 3rd of march and nothing so far.
 
Hey Fanor, my application was received on 02/04 and all of my other stuff was received by 03/16. Good Luck, they didn't mention how many more interviews that they would have.

I think it went well. I really like the facilities and direction that it is going in. There were 6 six people including me that interviewed today. I really hope I get in.

OMG CONGRATS!!! I know you feel great about it. If I may ask what type of envelope was it in. I don't want to open mine when it comes, so if I know what type of letter will come I'll already know. Sad I know but I need some comfort while waiting in this stressful time.

Trust me, I know what you mean. I was thinking the same thing.:laugh: It was in a BIG envelope (11 x 14) and it came with a bunch of forms to fill out. So if it's big, it is probably good news. GOOD LUCK!

just out of curiosity, is anyone actually worried that the school will not receive Pre-Candidate status or won't have enough people to fill up 75 spots?? The campus looks great but still...

not really, i mean with 1000+ applicants..it's safe to say, it'll fill up
 
Finally got my acceptance letter today!
I interviewed on April 8th, by the way. They must send out the letters in batches.

That's funny, they told me they only did interviews on Wednesday and Thursday. They must have changed it. If you will review the SDN interview questions for NOVA and LECOM you'll do fine. Good luck.

I applied to some other places and didn't get in 🙁. This is my second round of applying, hopefully this will be my last time.

Thanks and good luck on Friday. I was nervous too, but everyone was really friendly and I just got a really good feeling about the school just from the students/faculties' attitudes. Just relax and take a lot of deep breaths, be yourself and they'll see you for yourself.

SN: I wish I would have told myself that before going in. That sounded really good to me, LOL. 👍

Thanks! I will remember those things! I went to one of the open houses that they held, and it left me with a good feeling about them and the DO students are pretty nice too...actually ended up befriending one of them just in the short time I was there!

what are your stats if you don't mind sharing. what do they ask you in interview and how was the essay writing?

did you get a pharmacist recommendation or work supervisor? where to get pharmacist recommendation if you did not work or know any that will write a recommendation?

I PM'ed you my stats.
They didn't talk about my academics, they wanted to get to know me personality wise. So they just asked questions to see how I would respond.

My pharmacist is my work supervisor, so she wrote a letter for me. My other letters were from my adviser and the director of the program that I received my degree in. Are you familiar with the pharmacist in your hometown? You can ask this person to write a letter, they should know you or at least your family. This may not apply if you or your family haven't used the same pharmacy or you're from a big area. Hope this helps, good luck.

i got the same financial aid letter. but im in the same boat, no email account yet =/
 
has anyone here done the drug test yet? i was told to take the form to a labcorp.
