What makes you think that they will know the 2nd week in June? It says on that website that the meetings are June 23-27?

Well...third week. I didn't check the exact dates. I just know they always have a meeting around that time each year and that they stated they would make a decision about those programs at that time.

I really hope it's before June 25th. PCOM is my first choice and I already completed the pre-req's but my second choice requires summer classes which i signed up for. The 25th is the last day to drop and i would hate to go beyond that and have to stay in class the whole semester 🙁
 
anyone get their financial aid packet yet? i'm confused as to what to do. fill out the thing on nucleus or wait for something in the mail?
 
@RXmang. I have only gotten the student binder so far. still waiting for the fin. aid packet. however, look on nucleus, there are some student requirements that you can complete while you wait. for example, you can do the MPN.
 
it's been over a week since i interviewed and haven't heard back 🙁
has anyone else interviewed and heard back from them recently?
 
Does anybody know how many people interviewed on 5/13 or 5/14 ?

I received the packet with the binder.
 
there were 3 others that interviewed with me on 5/13
 
Hey I interviewed 5/13 too and still I haven't heard back from them yet.....getting worried..
 
why would you be worried?..it's only been a week. lol. adcoms probably have set meeting days..biweekly, triweekly, etc.

Did you get an interview? what is your status. Aisha email me and told me adcom should make a decision on me by the end of this week. It is already friday of this week and I doubt it. Studying for PCAT again with Dr. Collins study guide and pearson official pcat study guide. Not helpful since I forgot most of the science material

Thank you for opening up a spot. If more people decline admission to PCOM and accept elsewhere, there will be more open spaces for deserving students.

When did you apply to PCOM?
I applied on the 15th of April, and my file completed on the 3rd of May. My interview date is in June 2nd. I am really nervous scared.

Btw, for those who had the interview in the past, did anyone unfortunately get denied from the school?

Yes!!! I thought my interview went really well and I check my email /mail like 5 times a day .... I almost feel like I have some sort of disorder it's driving me insane

Well although I know it's gonna take them at least a week to let me know, I was on campus for the interview on 5/26.

No, I spoke with Aisha in Admissions today and she said that ADCOM will make decisions today and have them in the mail tomorrow.
 
Has anyone who attended a PCOM interview been rejected or do they just put you on a wait list?
Also for those who got accepted, did it arrive in your mail as a big envelope??

Hey I was in Georgia yesterday looking for an apartment and stopped by the school to show my family where I would be for the next 3-4 years :laugh::laugh::laugh:. It was after 4pm so just about everyone was gone but a lady took us on a tour of the building and it looks great. She also told me that the class was full now and all accepted students will be invited up to the school in July for a meet and greet. Has anyone gotten this invite yet? Please let me know if you do hear something about this. SN: this lady was not apart of the pharmacy staff so idk how sound her info is about the class being full. Just thought I would share my adventures from yesterday.
 
I will be applying to PCOM this year..I'm super excited about the school although I live in the West coast..it should be a new experience going to school in the East coast..I have plenty of questions to ask in the upcoming days hope you guys can help me out 😀

I can't say that you should give up, I interviewed on 04/22 and didn't get my letter of acceptance until 05/17. It was dated for 05/13 though. Good luck anyway 👍.

I would not give up just yet. I was at PCOM 6/04 and there were still students interviewing for the class. There is no way a school would waste money interviewing students if the class was already filled. Since you interviewed in May and have not received a reply, they must be holding your application for review with the students who interviewed recently. Don't worry you still have a shot! Nothing is set and done until you get that letter.
 
Hey I just spoke to Aisha today and she said that for those that interviewed 5/13, replies will be received in the mail today/tomorrow.
Also she said that the class was not full yet....

OR they could be still doing interviews to compile a waitlist. sounds logical IF the class is already filled

The Banner ID is basically your student ID number. You have to wait until you receive your log-in credentials to nucleus to find out what it is. And if you already have your nucleus log-in then...

1. Log into Nucleus
2. Click on "Resources for Students" tab
3. Click on the option that says "Find Your Banner ID"

Or you can always contact the school and ask them. Good Luck

I need a roomate, male , for school in August Pcom, pharmacy, GA

I check the price of the apartments on the school web site , and they are all on the range 7 to 900 per month for 2 bedrooms. It is expensive for any students . plus we have to pay for 30, 000 dollars for tuation already.

So I was currently on the waitlist for PCOM in GA and I just got a letter today saying that the selection for the 1st yr class is completed and I have been put on the alternate list. Has anyone else had any updates that was on the waitlist? How likely is it to be accepted?

When was your interview date?
 
My interview date was March 17th. I was then put on a waitlist and now I'm on an alternate list. 🙁
