hey david,

I am still working on the guide. We have an exam on Tuesday and 3 exams next Monday, so we have been a little slow getting stuff worked on. I still should have it finished by mid June. I will keep you guys posted

To all incoming freshmen,

I am moving out of my 2bed/1bath apartment ASAP, thus would like to let the landlords know to fill it w/ a med student, in which whom they prefer filling their leases. Also, my neighbor moved, and i am not sure if they have found someone else. I'm sure these places have a list of people to move in, but they'll hold off to find us med students, so dont be haste!

In all, its a nice place close to school (< 1.0 mile), perfect for livin' alone, and less expensive than avg.

Let me know if you are interested via SDN or email. There are pros and cons (pros outweigh), more than happy to elaborate.

Congrats again in your accomplishments.

To All,

I was originally in the Class 2010 but Angel called and offered me a seat for 2009. I have been jumping around like crazy trying to tie up lose ends. Not on any email list or have no other communications with any of you.

Congrats on your earlier acceptance. I know people that got in during orientation back in my day so you should be okay to get everything together in time. Good luck!

One question though, why is PCSOM already accepting students into the class of 2010? They have never done that before. 😕

Well during our interview PCSOM thought they had 12 more seats for 2009, but due to a computer error they only had 1. There was about 20 of us there so they said they were offering a rolling admission especially since AACOMAS application process opened during our interviews.

Went today and got my apartment and turned in all my stuff to Angel. One question, is it professional dress during orientation week? I am assuming so, but the office didn't give me a yes or no.

With out question, it is professional dress. Unless you like being poked fun at by the Dean.

I figured so. Just wanted to make sure.

so i never heard from anyone, what exactly is professional dress for guys? i would guess dress shirt, tie, and slacks - but does everyone wear scrubs every day like other places?

Does this mean I can't wear my Scutmonkey and Ralph Stanley T-shirts to class?

Expect to wear a tie to class on Mondays and Fridays at least until Christmas. The other three days are lab days and most people wear scrub bottoms and a t-shirt. Some people think a little bling bling satisfies the tie requirement, but I guess you can settle that for yourself. Just in case you're wondering there is no dress code on test days.
