Hi y'all:
I registered to take the PCAT in October for a November test date. Well things got crazy and there is no way I am going to be able to take it. I tried to reschedule for January and they refused to let me reschedule because I had not signed up for that "window". They took my $200.00 and wont let me reschedule!?!?
Has anyone had a similar problem???

Unfortunately that's their policy that you agree to when you register the first time. Each test period is called a window and you can reschedule if its within the same window but if not, you surrender your payment.

it is rather unfortunate. I thought i was purchasing a seat for an exam. That was like all the money I had. I cant believe they treat students like this.

That is why it is smart to schedule the exam immediately. And you agreed to their policy.

On the bottom, if you follow the instructions in Canceling your Registration, you should be able to receive a refund. For another test I cancelled, I had to pay $25 to cancel it but got the rest of what I paid for back.

The above poster is correct. I scheduled for a July PCAT, but I think I canceled only a week before the exam and I was still able to get a full refund. I just then re-registered for the September PCAT. I think you should be okay...ask for a refund and then re-register for the January PCAT.

I registered for the Oct/Nov PCAT also. There was at least 3 popups telling you the last day to cancel (I believe it was the 30th or 31st). I registered for Nov 9, so I am guessing it is 10 days notice. That is your own fault. Every company has policies that you have to follow.
