Hey dr. ,
Hope this thread finds you well all :)

I'm back again after finishing my NBDE both parts , and i'm looking forward to apply for a Pediatric Residency

The only problem is i'm a foreign trained dentist :(
i've 3 years experience and i've took toefl too
i've green card and a social security no too :) ( i'm a refugee )

so , would you mind please tell me my opportunities ( as a foreign trained dentist ) to get into a Pediatric Residency or should i think in other Residencies ?

Will you be able to practice in the US after your receive your training or do you plan on returning to your country?

i live in NY so i think i can practice after finishing my residency and i can't go back to my county since i'm a refugee :)

Yes it makes a huge difference.
You can't get into a US residency program without a license from a US Dental School. Even if you could, you would not be able to practice here without a US Dental License.
