hey lonestar yankee... congrats on the ohio state and baylor interviews... what kind of stats do you have? just wondering what all of us needed for next year...

"next year?" babybling, didn't you say you've received interview invites for this year (e.g. a post regarding interview invites to san antonio)? i'm a little confused... anyways, i want to keep this thread in its "pure form--" posts about this year's interview information. if you really want my stats, you can pm me and i'll give you a general overview. i think most people on this site know by now what kind of "numbers" it takes to get decent interview (although numbers are by no means the most important thing!). i guess i'm just afraid that these forums can become a sort of "pissing contest" where everyone tries to compete with each other. i've had my fill of competition throughout my dental school career. peace...

lonestar,
my best friend/classmate got that interview at san antonio. i am not applying to post-doc prog and have just been posting on her behalf to get the info out to everybody... sorry for the confusion, don't kill the messenger. we'll keep it pure. no competition here bud.

A friend of mine just got an e-mail from Michigan- interview is Oct 30 and 31. (he also said there was another 2 days he could have chosen, but I don't know the date)
 
Tennessee via phone. Oct. 13th/Oct. 27/Nov. 3/Nov 10.
 
i am an international graduate interested in applying to the residency program
I jsut took the NBDE part I and would like to know what a good score is...
and other ranges for scores etc...
any information is welcome

Iowa via e-mail. There are two dates: Monday, November 13th and Monday November 20th with a casual dinner on Sunday night.
 
Temple via snail mail (Oct 5) - letter says to call for dates. Anybody called yet to see what the dates are?

good score: 98
bad score: anything below 98

if you haven't heard by now, be afraid... be very afraid... and apprehensive... just kidding... 😉
 
got a phone call fron bronx lebanon hospital on 9/25, they offered me interview on Nov 8 at 2 pm. They interview only on wedsdays afternoon and this was the first available date. Hope this helps.
 
Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin via phone. I don't know the dates yet.
 
The dates for Temple are Nov 7, Nov 14, or Nov 21. The dates for Wisconsin are Nov 2/3 or Nov 9/10

Hi,
Can you tell us which university is that.
I got a call from Univ. of Washington. Dates offered- Nov 2nd and Dec 7th with the dinner the night before.

I know NYU sent out an e-mail with their dates, but who has actually received an invitation and how did they tell you?
 
NYU notified me via email on Oct 5th- Intervew dates are Oct 30 or Dec 11 with a resident get together on Oct 29th
 
Medical College of Georgia via email- Interview date Nov 27

University of Florida via email- Interview dates Nov 20 or Dec 11
 
University of Illinois at Chicago via mail. 11/27, 11//29, or 11/30.
