Has anyone heard from Louisville, Colorado, or UMKC?

Interesting... I'm applying from dental school. How did you like the program during your externship? I now have a interview conflict so I will have to choose.

I did an externship at Colorado, so I'm also hoping to hear from them... haven't yet. I think they mentioned when I was there that the dates would be Dec. 2-3.

It was my first externship so I didn't have a very good idea of what to really look for. One of the days I was in the OR observing and assisting with one of the new residents. Dr Heringer stepped in a few times when time was an issue. His clinical skills were pretty amazing. I also observed him with other first years and I was also impressed with his behavior management. All in all he seemed like a director that you could learn a ton from and one that is actively involved in the day to day aspects of the program. I didn't see any sedation while I was there so I'm not sure how much experience the residents get. The facilities are way nice. All digital, computer at every operatory, and bascially new everything. Louisville has given interviews. I spoke to Colorado today and they said interview dates are Dec. 2 and 3rd and that phone calls will go out this week!

I have the Lutheran interview in Brooklyn coming up. Anybody know of some decent (safe and not roachy) hotels that don't cost $400/night? I have to stay for 5 nights between my Buffalo and Lutheran interviews.

All I can think right now is that UTSA and LLU at least sent out a letter of rejection. There are a couple of programs I have not heard from who have not bothered to. Pretty unprofessional I would say. I am sure they can get some admin person to send out letters with the PD's stamped signature across the letter!! +pissed+
