Anyone have any recommendations for a good pen light? I've been using my phone's flash light lately since every pen light I've bought previously has either been too weak or too strong.
Or get something like this adjustable brightness thing, which I use around the house: Amazon product ASIN B010SH5N7Y
We just use NeurOptics pupillometers in the unit. Ain't much need for a swinging lantern test.
Keep using your phone...then sticking it up on your face....and ignoring the C diff that is all over it.
A simple hardware store penlight (or penlight from the stockroom) is fine. I have a ultra-bright one, and it eliminates any relevant dynamic range. It's too strong and makes more subtle findings impossible to sort out.
The best one I've found is a simple Energizer LED penlight that runs on 2 AAA batteries. You should be able to find it at any Target store. Don't waste your money on a Welch-Allyn - low cost LEDs have made those obsolete.
