This is out of TBR, but there's no answer/explanation given.

The acceleration due to gravity on the sun is 28 times greater than that of the earth. The frequency of oscillation will be:

A. 0.19 times that of the earth
B. 4.80 times that of the earth
C. 5.29 times that of the earth
D. 28.0 times that of the earth

I guessed C because the eqution is f= 1/2pi * sqrt(g/L). The sqrt of 28 is something a little more than 5, since the sqrt of 25 is 5.

do you have the older version of the book!? a friend of mine had it and I think they have the answer choices (no explanation) for inside chapter questions at the end of answers/explanation for the end of chapter questions!

with that said, I could be wrong
BTW I think also C

No, I have the new(est?) books, but last night I found a copy of the old books (2009) available for download. I'm just reading them while I'm at work since I can't have books at my computer.

I know SDN doesn't condone illegal material, etc, but I bought the books as well so.. too bad 😀
