Hey guys,

I interviewed two weeks ago at Penn state and the wait is driving me up the wall. At the interview, they said about 400 people are accepted out of about 700 interviewed. How long did it take to get back to you guys after you interviewed? It seemed if people were accepted, people heard really soon after the interview, which is not the case for me! Any advice? One of my interviews said "when you come here, look me up." He acted like I was in! Did any of you have this experience and were accepted or rejected? Anyway, any sort of response will be helpful for me! I am sort of worried because my second interviewer really asked me a lot of questions about religion and I answered the best way I could, but I am no expert! Anyway, good luck to all who are waiting!

It has been seven weeks since my interview and I haven't heard anything. Two of my other friends who also interviewed around the same time have also not heard anything. We all felt that our interviews went very well. It took 4 weeks before one of my friends got an acceptance letter early this fall. My one friend said that she thought she heard that it's been averaging about 6 weeks before getting a letter. Oh well, I'm hoping they're just behind or something... I hope!

Hi Dukee,

It took about 6 weeks for me to get an acceptance. Neither interviewer gave me any inclination that they would accept or reject me. Keep up hope!! Your acceptance letter will undoubtedly come when you least expect it!! <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> PM if you want.

I heard from them about 4 weeks after my interview. I remember them saying that if you haven't heard anything within 8 weeks to PLEASE call them, because your letter might have been lost. Unfortunately, my letter was a "hold" letter. I really liked Penn State a lot, so I hope that soon my "hold" will be an acceptance! Good luck!
