Penn State University. Process application now or wait until August MCAT result?

Hello everyone:

I just received my Penn State Secondary and they ask me if I want them to process my application with my previous MCAT score or wait until they get the August MCAT score. The application also says that if I decide for them to process the application now the August MCAT will not even be considered. I got a 28O on my previous MCAT but did not get in to any other school (Science GPA 3.44 and overall 3.41, if anybody is wondering). What should I do? This is my first time Applying to this school though.

How are you scoring on your practice exams? If you're pretty sure you'll be able to improve by 4-5 points I would say wait. Unless you're a PA resident - then if the rest of your application is strong it might be worth it to try with your current score.

I am a non-resident and am choosing to wait until the August scores for PSU. I didn't want to take the chance of getting rejected too early in the game!
