Are they generally slow with applications or is it a bad sign that they have not contacted me yet (even just for money)?

My application was sent on 6/31 and they are the only school that has yet to contact me.

You might want to give their admissions office a call.. I think that they should have contacted you by now... My application was sent out 7/10, they contacted me on 7/21 saying that they received my application, 7/28 with a supplemental application, and 8/12 they invited me to interview.
