I'm having a hard time finishing the Perceptual test on time? Can anyone give me some strategies to solving for some of the problems?
Thanks
😕
sure,
key-hole: look for little details such as curved or straight sides (most popular)
top-front-end: count the vertices and match: right side of top view with top of side view, bottum of top view with top of front view, and lastly, right side of front view with left side of side view.
angles: use the "7" method, this is where u picture the number 7 when you look at every angle and find which angles make the smallest number 7 and the largest, this works if you practice it.
hole punching: look for symmetry and just follow the holes while unfolding the paper in ur head
cube counting: dont forget the hidden cubes! have a strategie such as going by rows and from front to back, this section needs to be fast and perfected as it is an easy point section on pat!
paper folding: look for obscure designs or shapes and follow it as u fold the image in ur head and picure what would be adjacent to it, the process of elimination is the best method for this section
