I am finishing up my DO ps right now and I have a content question. The overall flow of my paper is: 1) experience giving insight behind why I want to be a doctor 2)experience giving insight behind why I want to practice primary care 3) conclusion/why DO.

I feel like my conclusion might come across as being a MD ps modified at the end for DO, but this is not true. How would you approach this situation?

thanks.

I have said this before, others might disagree, but this is just my opinion. I really like your approach so far. In all honesty, I would steer clear of too much DO stuff at all. You will have plenty of time to explain this in the secondaries.

Why use up great thoughts on the initial PS. Instead, copy cut and paste that part into a new DOC and save for the secondaries which will make it that much easier when the time comes. In this way you can also avoid feeling like you "just modified the ending to fit DO". I would more or less expound upon the other stuff....like you stated already, just stick to why you want to be a physician for the most part.

Save the juicy DO details for the secondaries. I highly highly doubt this would ever be a screening factor for the secondaries. :)
