Hey everyone, I had a question regarding the personal statement. Me and my friend both looked it over and it was all good so I e-submitted today. Well my other friend looked it over again and she noticed that I left out the letter F on the word off and I wrote lead when I meant led 🙁. How this slipped past both me and my friend more than 1 time is beyond me. Since I already e-submitted, I cant correct this. So my question is, how bad does this look to the people who read it? Its really been bugging me. Thanks in advance everyone.

Same happened to me last year. I had two people read it for me and I read it multiple times as well. However, all three of us didn't catch that "patience" was actually "patients." I have no idea how that looked to the adcom. I just hoped that they didn't notice it as well. 😱

what's "led"? LED lights?

I think as long as people understood what you meant, a few errors aren't going t be too bad. I had a few myself on my ucsf supplemental app
