In regards to writing a personal statement, what are the guidelines/recommendations when it comes to listing out career goals in a more specific manner? Is it better to be open to various specialties, or show that I'm interested in a certain area? On one hand, I don't want to seem too focused on one thing, but I also want to show that I have certain interests!

In terms of career goals, they know that not everyone knows exactly what population or setting they want to work in. As long as you mention that you are open to learning about other areas, it shows that you are interested about everything OT can do and help people in need! Good luck!
