As an IMG, how difficult is it to get a PGY-3 position in Canada after completing 2 yrs of FM in Canada or after completing 3yrs of FM in the US?
I know that PGY-3 positions in anesthesia and ER are quite competitive, but how about PGY-3 positions in palliative care or academics?
Is it heard of to transfer into a community medicine residency after 2 yrs of FM?
