I need some clearifications plz:
if PH< PI we'll have an overall charge of positive since we have lots of H+ and so.... we'll have a basic amino acid? how does that exactly work? I understand that a basic amino acid have an overall positive charge and an acidic one has a negative charge and that the type of amino acid can be determined from the PI but how can it be basic aa when we have lots of H+?
would appreciate your help.
thanks
