so
what exactly is it that you want to know?
So then why are you questioning her? Pharmacists are not trained to read that stuff proficientlynev said:But I beleive that they do have some knowledge in reading such image scans , right?
Silly Texan....

Oh yes I did....It's too bad that Tennessee had to stick it's nose in where it didn't belong and save Texas...I'd rather refer to Texas as Mexico.dana92085 said:oh no you didn't.... 😀
ok but seriously....nev said:Ok it was a mistake on my part...I apologize. Lets end this quarrel..please? 🙁
what is it that you are wanting to know?
and why are you asking?
i'm just curious by now....
Hey Bbmuffin,
Ok I just wanted to know if pharmacists were trained to read x rays and analyze them....u gave me an answere which was perfect, but I just went crazy and asked again. The reason why I asked this question was just out of curiosity....Pharmacists go through a lot of training and I felt that they should also have some power in evaluating imaging results...

oh alright
i honestly would not feel comfortable evaluating imaging results...
i mean...
i can probably tell you what could be going on... however... that is totally different than actually aiding in diagnosing
we had to read EKGs and such, even on tests... but that is not within my scope of practice... ever

Thanks
Nev
I don't even believe I'm seen them beyond A&P. If any pharmacist without medical and then Radiology/Nuke Medicine training thinks he can read an X-ray, he should look at the sensitivity and NPV ratings of the experienced radiologists! It's really kinda scary!
