It seems like a bit of an odd topic, but does anyone know a pharmacist (or student I suppose) with a pharmacy related tattoo? I have seen one pharmacist?s and know of one or two more that have them. Most that I?ve heard of, and the one that I?ve seen, are a mortar and pestle type thing. I suppose a bowl of hygea would also be appropriate. Anyone have one or plan on getting one once they are accepted/graduate/pass the board exams? (In a discreet location, I?m sure) I don?t really have an opinion on it, I just thought that it was interesting. Oh, I live in Michigan by the way. These pharmacists lived in fairly major cities, so it?s not like I live in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of wackos, although that could probably be debated. Any input?

Yes, I have one. I just got it today. It's on my ass and it reads:

"Albany School of Pharmacy was here"

Not the best picture in the world, but I am considering this as a tattoo once I get my license.

I always thought a cool pharmacy tatoo would be the superman symbol with an Rx inside instead of the S. But, I'm not THAT into my profession. 😉

Hmmm...

In hindsight, I wish I had my license number tattoed on my forehead so the pharmacy inspector would not waste more of my time...

But, I've gotten more license numbers since then.

I've got a friend who is going to get the bowl of hygenia (i really wish i could spell) on his arm.

Mann..my friends and fam had a helluva time getting me to give up my piercings..the look on their faces will be priceless when I show up with RX tattoos all over lol

well the good thing is in theory you'll be immunized to hepatitis, since all universities require a series of immunizations prior to admittance... protect your liver and don't end up like tommy lee! 😀
