If the deadline for a school is August 1st for example..

will i need to e-submit my PharmCAS 5 weeks before Aug 1st?
(since it takes 5 weeks to process)

or

Can i e-submit on July 31st and still make the deadline?
(since it will be "postmarked" as submitted before Aug 1st?)

Thank you

I'm very sure it's the latter. The deadline means that PharmCAS wants all your materials by August 1. I can't remember the exact wording on the PharmCAS website, but they mention something about how the deadline doesn't apply to when your application is received by the school.

I was scared by that 5 week thing too and I was submitting my application during what I was told is "busy time" and they still had it processed in 8 or 9 days.

Its the latter.

Imagine if some applicant submitted their application 5 weeks out and for some reason PharmCAS took 5.5 weeks.
