Hi I have a question about whether or not it's possible to add references after you e-submit your PharmCAS application. My PharmCAS application is all complete and ready to go except for the fact that I do not yet have the LOR from a science professor that is required for many schools. I am currently in anatomy class for the summer and plan to ask my professor for a LOR when the course finishes in mid-september.

Here's the problem, some schools I want to apply to require the science professor LOR whereas other schools I'd also like to apply do not require it (namely Loma Linda). Since Loma Linda has rolling admissions, I would like to submit my PharmCAS application as soon as possible and not have to wait till mid-sept. If I submit it now, would I be able to add LOR's to my application in the future?

Thanks!

Chances are, if you are only taking this professor for a summer class (summer classes are short), knowing him now and knowing him say 2 or 3 weeks from now isn't really going to make a big difference on his/her impression on you. I'd say. heck, just ask the professor now (like today) and if its an OK, you can add him and submit. seriously, professors are good at telling good students from bad students. Waiting until the end of the summer class isn't going to make a big difference. i think. but that's just my opinion. Good luck
