PharmCAS Application Mailed!

My PharmCAS Application was mailed yesterday! It still hasn't linked my supplemental application with my PharmCAS but I'd think that it will be done soon enough.

Has anyone else's application been mailed?
 
Yup.. mine was mailed 8/7 .. Now the waiting continues!

There's been a hold up. One of my references accidentally addressed a specific school. Luckily it was my top choice, but just in case that doesn't work out, would other schools can of put my app at the bottom because of that mistake?
 
Yesss mine was mailed 8/7 as well and the school received my supplemental the same day! Now just wait :/

I think they may look down on it a little bit but not as bad has if you made your personal statement about one school since it was not entirely your fault that they addressed a specific school in their reference. If I was an adcom I would try to look past that part and see what specific qualities your reference said about you and why you would be good as a future pharmacist.

Im not too worried about it. Adcoms know that most students apply to multiple schools. Anyways, mine was officially mailed off yesterday! Good luck to everybody!

How long does it take for y'all to get the GPA calculated and then mail out. Thanks!
 
Once they received my transcripts, it was about a week. I submitted mine so early that I had to wait for the first mailing that was done on 8/7. I don't know when the next mailing date is.

I think they mail them out once weekly. First batch went out 8/7 and then mine was sent yesterday after e-sub on 8/9.

It might be that they try to do that. I e-submitted 8/09 but haven't had anything mailed out yet.

At this point, early in the game, I think it'll generally take about a week or two.
 
Would our July PCAT scores be sent out the next mailing batch? Or are they instantly available for the schools that want to view them?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain that PCAT scores are instantly available to the schools that you have submitted a PharmCAS application to once it has been verified that they have been received.,

Okay I was absolutely sure that was the case as well, but I read somewhere else that it was otherwise. Thank you for the clarification.

Thanks for all the responses. I e-submitted 8/17 and my application have been verified on 8/19. They will mail it out within 7-10 days. so quick!!
 
Hey guys, I have a question! I have everything filled out, and I'm just waiting on one more letter of recommendation. My friend said that I can just e-submit my application even before my letter of recommendation is turned in, or even if my summer transcripts are still being sent.

I just wanted to ask if this was true, because I wanna turn this baby in as early as possible!

I turned mine in without one of my rec letters and classes still in progress
 
Submitted today! The application still hasn't updated to have a section that says "status" though.... Realistically when will the school get my application?
 
It's pretty fast. Pharmcas said the school is able to download it as well.

Thank you! I'm applying early decision so I'm nervous that I'm cutting it close. I didn't send it earlier because I rewrote my personal statement a million times and I would've kept redoing if it wasn't due so soon 😛
 
Lol I rewrote mine a million times too and finally just submitted it haha

PharmCAS got my transcripts yesterday. I'm actually amazed that my college managed to not screw it up this time. I will need to hammer out those essays this weekend.
 
My application was officially verified!! The email says that my application will be mailed out on the next pharmcas mailing date... Early decision deadline is September 3rd. Will my application make it there on time?
 
I'm in the same boat with Early Decision.. My application has been verified as of yesterday, and will be mailed out on the next mailing date. I think we'll be fine. Plus, the schools can view our apps online. Good luck!!!

It says that my gpa has been verified does that mean it was mailed??

No. Once it is mailed, there will be a date under the "Mailed" column. You can check this in your Pharmacy Designation tab on the right side of your PharmCas portal.

Pharmcas application officially mailed today! Tonight's the night for early decision... Just one more supplemental essay to finish up and submit. Pcat tomorrow! Is anyone else as nervous and anxious as I am?!
