Lets say I finished the first and second semester of freshment year, and I did horrible in the first semester.

Now I am starting the first semester of my second year, and I decide that I want to repeat the classes that I took in the first semester of my freshment year. Now, would I lable myself in the first semester of my second year as a freshmen still? or a Sophomore? I put "freshmen" because I felt I was still at the freshmen level due to freshmen level classes.

Would this cause my application to be undelivered back to me for correct? what do you guys think?

I just followed what my transcript says - where it says what year I was in for each quarter based on number of credits I earned.

It shouldn't really matter which levels of course work you are taking I don't think. During my senior year I have all combinations of Lower-division, Upper-division, and Graduate level classes.
