I was wondering how the application gets submitted on Pharmcas if you are applying to different colleges with different deadlines? Do we get to choose when we decide to submit our application for colleges which have a later deadline. Or once we hit Esubmit; all the designated colleges receive the application from Pharmcas?

It's been 3 years since I applied to pharmacy schools. But I believe you first choose how many schools you want to apply to. Lets say you first choose to apply to 5 schools. Once you click ESubmit. You have applied and pay for all 5 schools. If you later on decide to apply to MORE schools you just add the schools and pay more money for those schools. But once you click ESubmit you have applied to all the schools that you have selected so far on that application.

@SHC1984 - Thank you for the reply. I guess thats good and bad. I wanted to apply based on what kind of responce's I got from schools I submit earlier based on deadlines that fall earlier than others.

No problem. It's good that you are applying EARLY! If I were you I would just apply to the 4-5 schools that are your top choices. No need to apply to a million schools (waste of money). Just apply to your TOP choices. If you don't hear anything and it is Feb then apply to more schools.

Thats definitely my concern. Application fees do add up! My top schools have spreadout deadlines but it might be a good idea to get over with all at same time. Especially since only one of them has non-rolling admissions process and others have rolling admissions.

thanks for the info.. what about letters of recommendations? how do those work? if im applying to 5 schools, do i need to email my professor 5 times asking him to submit a letter of recommendation to 5 different schools?? sorry im gonna be registering to pharmcas in the coming weeks and i dont get that part

You ask your professor to write ONE letter of recommendation and send it to Pharmcas or they can do it by email thru Pharmcas. Either way they write ONE rec and give it to Pharmcas. Pharmcas then send them to all the schools you will be applying to.
