On the PharmCAS website, it indicates a series of standardized survey questions for general evaluation of a candidate.

Does anyone know if a section for a written composition is also in the evaluation portal? I want to know whether or not I need to inform my references about this so they don't waste time unnecessarily writing a letter that can't be submitted...

Thanks

It's optional for them to include a written attachment. If they are extremely close to you I'm sure they wouldn't be able to submit it without giving an extra say as to why you would make a great pharmacist. If it's a science prof who only knows you from lectures, they're probably not as likely to write a separate letter.
