Phase 2 residency shortened interviews?

I was discussing today with my preceptor, and apparently, Phase 2 interviews are shorter and usually no patient cases? Is this true?

I can't answer about the "no patient cases" part, but the local hospital that is doing phase 2 interviews next week giving 10 individuals each a one hour slot. So they will be significantly shorter!
