hi guys,

i am going to apply for elective clerkships in U.S. soon, and one of the schools that i will push my luck is Harvard. i know it is not that easy. but did you know that they accept %88 of applicants! this is higher than Yale do! the only thing that concerns me is the required phone interview you have to make no matter you take TOEFL or not!
so , my question is ..Is there anyone who has ever made this kind of phone interview??.what am i going to be asked during this phone call?? by the way the main idea of phone call is to decide whether you are fluent or not..
any help will be appreciated
thankz

Harvard accepts elective students because they bring in a bit of money because they are charged tuition (pro rated).

The phone interview is notoriously EASY. They're not about fluency, more about affluency (because US students in general don't pay tuition when doing electives at other schools)... It's fleecing in academia.
