First post- Forgive me, if anything is wrong.

Hi Everyone,

Can any one help me in finding a easy going/friendly physician for shadowing in Connecticut? I contacted most of the physicians in my near by hospital, where I volunteer. But, everyone denied due to some crappy hospital regulations.

I'm alone and I'm new to this state. So don't have much physicians contact.

Any help would be really appreciated. I can commute anywhere in Connecticut or nearby NY for shadowing

Pls help me. Thanks in advance.

You're not far from Yale at all. I'd try contacting someone at Yale New Haven Hospital. Or there's Bridgeport Hospital. Or St. Raphael's. Or St. Vincent's. Or Griffin. Plenty of hospitals in the area. I dunno which one had their weird regulations...

Conveniently enough, most hospitals have a database of the doctors they employ on their websites to use as an online referral service, so you can search for a physician that you might like to shadow and try to contact them. Yale's. St. Vincent's. St. Raphael's. Bridgeport's. Griffin's. Hope that might help you a little. Good luck. :luck:

It's a D.O. mentoring site, where you can find names of physicians who are accepting letting you or somebody shadow them. It's D.O., but honestly it shouldn't really matter because the shadowing experience is the same regardless.

Thanks a lot for the replies.

I contacted some of the UCHC physician and they agreed to let me shadow them..
