I have to decide one course among Physics II, Intro to Physiology, or Anatomy.
The benefit of taking Physics II this semester is that I can finish all the prerequisites by the time I apply this Summer. However, this will not help me prepare for DAT since it's not part of DAT.
For better concentration on DAT, do I have to postpone taking Physics II to Spring 2009 and take either Physiology or Anatomy this Spring ?
Can you please give me your advice ?

Thanks!

Um the choice is yours..... but if you are trying to take a class that might help you for your DAT, I would say the Physiology course would be most helpful, because if it is anything like my Physiology classes it will show you how everything works in the body, and that is a pretty big chunk of the possible questions on the Biology section.

I agree with btizzels and would take Physiology. It will really help you out on the DAT. Or you could just take both this semester 😀

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

If I take physio this time, the only semester that I can take Physics II is Spring 2009, which is after I may get a potential acceptance but before the dental school starts.
Is this plan still valid and acceptable?

That should be fine. You just gotta finish all prereqs before you matriculate.

If you can finish the prereqs before dental school its OK. I would recommend getting the basic prereqs out of the way first and then go onto to recommended courses like Physio and anatomy. People should get the basic prereqs out of the way first. That is the most prudent thing to do, what if something freaky happens and can't enroll in the prereqs when you put it off until the last year???👎

lol blankguy... what if all dental schools close their doors?
what if people didn't have teeth?

You gotta take a look at his situation first... if it's going to help him on the DAT, theres no reason for him not to do it. Take physiology and study so you can take the DAT as soon as possible, then take phys... or take both at same time 😛, if your schedule is ok 😛

You should also keep in mind that physiology involves a good bit of physics. Depending on how in depth your physiology course is, you may or may not want to have taken physics first.

Huh? Why can't people get the prereqs out of the way first? It doesn't seem to be terribly smart way to go about fulfilling the prereqs if you delay it until the last year? Anyways he should finish it up ASAP.

It may not help with the DAT but he's gotta take them. Take it and get it out of the way so he doesn't have any distractions to prepare with the DAT.
