Hey,
I'm stuck on this Physics question in my summer class. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Two identical conducting spheres, 1 and 2, carry equal amounts of charge 1C and are seperated by 1m as shown in figure (a). (i) calculate the electrical force in Figure A. (ii) as shown in Fig b,c, and d suppose now that a third identical sphere 3, having an insulated handle and initially uncharged, is touched to sphere 1, then to sphere 2 and finally removed. What now is the force F' between spheres 1 and 2 in fig. d? In case if you can't see the diagram, figure has 1 and 2 in repulsion.

that is way too in depth for me to think about this late in the summer...man, i am glad physics is over. i hated that class.

hmm im not sure about the other questions but i think for question 1 the answer is 8.99x10^9..

Fe=kq1q2/r2

8.99x10^9N(m^2/c^2)(1C)(1C)/1^2=8.99x10^9

Ok thanks anyway, I figured it out.

the real question...how much physics is really used in pharm school???

Very, very little. There is some electrical circuit stuff when you do cardiac and there's some pressure and flow in pulmonary.

You too? Physics haters unite!!! 😀

Thank god!! I have 2 more physics classes to take, and then I'm going to avoid it for as long as I live!!! Some have said that some pharm programs include physics pre-reqs just to see....because if we're willing to take physics for no reason other than to become pharmacists....we must really want to become pharmacists! :laugh:

is there physics in the new pcat?

physics question:

How would a dome house hold up in a hurricaine or tornado, assuming the windows were boarded up to function as part of the roof? (Remember how you can calculate the force needed to lift the roof off of a regular house?)

I don't know about that last physics question, but I just got my marks back and got an A in physics, yay!!!!!
Maybe I hate it a little less now!
