Hey Guys,

I am a sophomore in college entering my spring semester and I had a question for the MCATs. I plan on taking the MCATs this summer as I have 3 months of virtually doing nothing research oriented and thus I would really like to utilize this time and study and take the MCATs (and hopefully get it over with with a great score 🙂 )

I have 3 of the pre-reqs (for the MCATs) left to take, and I ideally this semester, I can take 2 of them without really killing myself courseload wise. I have chem (2nd semester), physics (2nd semester) and Orgo (1st semester). Initially I was thinking of taking chem and physics and self studying orgo but now I realize that I have the option of taking chem and o-chem (but i would be self studying physics 2nd semester for the MCATs, which isnt too bad since I took AP Physics E and M).

Which option should I take? How much Physics Electricity/Magnetism/Optics stuff (percentage wise) is on the MCATs and also do the MCATs require me taking Orgo 2 as well??

THanks a bunch

MCAT is singular.

Your particular MCAT could have anywhere from 0 electricity/magnetism/optics to a ton of electricity/magnetism/optics. Every test is different. You are better off taking the pre-reqs and then doing your MCAT.
