Your course catalog for physics should have a freshman, 100-level course called something like General Physics I and General Physics II. It does NOT have to be calculus-based to count. If you have further questions, post some course names/descriptions from your schools catalog and we can help whittle it down for you.

Are the phyiscs required for the pre_____ usually are the ones that are calc-based? Seems like other majors like engineering, physics, etc. take some different one.

Is bigger number an identification of a class being "higher/smarter"?
 
Unless you're an engineering major (or something of the like), save yourself and take algebra-based Physics I and II.
