Does physiology with lab complete a half year of biology required for UCSF?

thanks

Biological sciences One year of general biology or zoology with laboratory, designed for science majors. Vertebrate zoology is strongly recommended. (Anatomy, botany or elementary courses of a descriptive nature cannot be used to complete this requirement.)

looks like they want general bio or zoology

I don't think so. The introductory biology sequence was only two terms in my school, so I wrote to them and asked if ky other more advanced bio classes could fulfill the requirement. Apparently physiology doesn't, but genetic does. Maybe they want something more on the cell level?
