I need to do some additional studies for Physiology portion of DAT. But I keep getting confused between Anatomy topics and Physiology topics 😕

Can anybody kindly tell me which topics from the list below is Physiology??
hahaha I know its a dumb question but it would help me alot!!!!
thx in advance.

A. Integumentary
B. Skeletal
C. Muscular
D. Circulatory
E. Immunological
F. Digestive
G. Respiratory
H. Urinary
I. Nervous/senses
J. Endocrine
K. Reproductive

All of them!

Physiology refers to how systems work. Anatomy refers to what makes up those systems.

THe anatomy of the heart is the ventricles, antrias, valves, vagus nerve... etc

The physiology of the heart are the systole and diastole cycles, circulatory system, nervous system etc...

Some one correct me if wrong. And you should be familiar with everything that is there for the DAT btw. Is crucial and most of bio 2 is devoted to anatomy and physiology

oh goodness.
ppl said Cliffs is lacking in physiology so I was going to do some additional studies on it.
That list is from ADA site showing topics for Anatomy AND Physiology
so I was hoping to narrow down the topics i need to study further but I guess tats not gonna work.
sigh 🙁

thanks for your reply by the way.

Do you have your bio book? It helped me a lot. I was lost in physiology and anatomy, and my original bio book helped me a lot! good luck!

Im reading thru campbell textbook, animal form and function section. However, I am not noticing much that cliffs hasn't covered?? :S

I recommend this book called "Human Physiology" by Dee Unglaub Silverthorn. It is not that dense and you can definitely learn a lot of basics about the parts (i.e. anatomy) and how those parts work (i.e. physiology).

And the DAT definitely will ask a few basic questions on this topic so you are making a right move by trying to study everything. Good luck.
