Christiangirl - I decided to go to where I would be happiest (Case) rather than worry about simply wanting to have a name school on my resume (Hopkins). I am very excited that I have finally put my present happiness ahead of my future worries, which is exactly opposite of what I did in college (I spent all kinds of time studying, volunteering, doing research, instead of having fun as a college student).
Congrats brentunc. I think that if you are happy you will perform at your best anyway, so I am glad you will be where you are happy. That is all I too want. I did the same in undergrad and I was not happy there and it really affected my grades during the first two years. Of course, then for the last two I had a mission and turned it COMPLETELY around. Best wishes to you!!
