I recieved an acceptance to pitt and have an interview at Udel. I am told that the interview at Udel is very informal and that if you get that far you are practically in. I know Pitt is ranked higher than Udel but the rankings do not specify what particular factors make it a better school. Does anyone have any opinions/reasonings on which school to choose?

I think they're essentially tied as far as rankings go. I usually just take the rankings "at a glance" since I'm not entirely sure how valuable that figure truly is. When you read about how the rankings are determined, the explanation is rather vague. That's what made me less impressed with the whole ranking system.

Are the costs of attendance comparable?

As a person who is from near UD and goes to undergrad in Pittsburgh, DEFINITELY GO VISIT both. The campuses are extremely different--UD is suburban-like whereas Pitt is downtown intertwined with the city. Also be sure to look around both areas and see where you think you'd have the best opportunities for clinicals (like the full day/half day/2 week ones that you'll have to do near school). Make sure you also look st their curriculums closely. I didnt really look too hard at these schools because I wanted to go somewhere new, but if I remember correctly, they weren't very similar. Try to look for one that matches your interest and learning style. Good luck, and CONGRATS!

Did you have a Udel interview on the 4th? If you did this information below isn't going to be anything new (sorry!)...
I would definitely visit both. I interviewed at UDel on the 4th and their program is very unique but definitely not for everyone because it is very fast paced. I don't know much about pitt, but Udel is in a very large campus town with many undergraduates. Also as far as UDel goes for accepting all their interviewees, we were told at my interview that it really depends on what cycle of the admissions process you are in and the status of your prereqs.
UDel has a "ten reasons to study with us" list on their website. I suggest you consult it for a good overview of their strengths!
Congratulations on your acceptance to Pitt! 👍
