Just been waitlisted today (friday 3/4) to Pitt.
However, I was never invited to interview.
Weird how they waitlisted me without an interview.
Is this the same case for you?

I was just waitlisted at Pitt as well (3/4). Does anyone know how large the waitlist is?

Yeah they don't interview! and it seems like a lot of people were waitlisted
