I know that it might seem a little strange but here goes!! Unfortunatley my friend passed away a few months ago and the cause of death was unassertained. We have had the post mortem results back and the only abnormality was in the lungs and states something like " The red bloodcells within the pulmonary vasculature had autolysed to form amorphous eosinophilic material. One section had a large bone marrow embolus within a small pulmonary artery" please can anyone put this into simple terms for me and try and tell me what this could possible mean. Thanks in advance!
