Could anyone share how you review pathology for part 1. Is decks enough or kaplan lecture book (thick blue one)? I am super worried about this sub caz I am still confused about how to review it.
I am FTD graduated several years ago.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Shaguo, try to read very well from whichever resource you use, personally i had used the lecture notes reviewed it about 4 times before the exam. also i used the USMLE first aid for the review of pathology, for topics which were to vast and unneeded for the part 1 NBDE.

HI
Thank you so much for your response.
It is really impressive to know you review 4 times. I am reading it for the second time. To be honest, I dont think I could remember much when I close the book and I comfort myself by thinking decks are essential.
Also thank you for telling me directly that I dont need USMLE for this exam.
I learnt all these subjects in another language. That is why I am always wondering if I need to read English textbooks but Rubbin Path is really too thick and I dont have so much time.
Thank you again.

Dear Shaguo, since you will take part 1 NBDE i don't recommend that you go with Rubbin's book, it is too advanced and a hell of details. However, I do recommend that you go with 2 books: 1- Pathology Recall, good book for review. 2- Pathology Secret, which is the best ever book for pathology.

Good luck
