Hey Everyone, I cannot figure out how to arrive at the balanced redox reaction from:

FeAsS+ClO2=Fe{+3}+AsO4{-3}+SO4{-2}+Cl{-1} (in acidic solution)

and the answer, as stated on line is:

5FeAsS + 14ClO2 + 36H2O = 5AsO4{3-} + 5Fe{3+} + 14Cl{-} + 5SO4{2-} + 24H3O{+}

My answer was:
8H{+} + 3FeAsS + 14ClO2=3Fe{3+} + 3AsO4{-3} + 3SO4{-2} + 14Cl{-} +4H2O

I got my answer through using the half reaction method and I do not understand why it is not correct. Can anyone help me out?

Your answer is not correct because charge is not balanced. You have +8 on the left, and -20 on the right.

Yeah I saw that but in order to arrive at the answer I found on line, one needs to entirely disregard 24 or 28 electrons on the products side of the equation. To get their answer I had to multiply one of the half reactions by 5 instead of 3...and when I do that I cannot cancel out all of the charge!

I'm not sure what you mean because the correct answer's charge is balanced. I'll do this myself in about an hour and post detailed steps. Meanwhile, I am confident that their answer is right.
