Please help low gpa

Hi i am an indian dentist,due to some personal and family reasons i passed every year of my dental school in 2 attempts,creating a very low gpa,does i hold a chance for us dental schools,or the only option left for me now is dat?please reply experienced members of this group

First, you need to know that it won't be easy (or fast) to get accepted into any IDP in the USA. Secondly, you will have to work really hard on the other aspects of your application in order to compensate for your low GPA. Taking the DAT is a good idea, as long as you socore above average. Also, try to score above 100 on the TOEFL; get good letters of recommendation; do some shadowing or dental assisting if possible; write a flawless essay; try to get into research. Do everything you can to show the admissions committee that you are very motivated.
